Great place to stay in Condesa Positive: Excellent location, comfortable and private accommodation. Friendly & very safe location for a solo traveller. Nice rooftop terrace. Negative: Shower pressure and temperature were a bit temperamental

Great staff and super location. Positive: The location is excellent for restaurants and stores. Banks nearby as living here is almost the same prices as Canada. Negative: Nothing as the construction team did not start till after 9 and a great cleaner who is your day host, Gerry.

Overall, great stay in an ideally located, well-cared-for guest house with friendly + helpful staff. Positive: The location is amazing if you want to be in close proximity to cool cafés, bars, restaurants etc. and the staff are really great. Negative: It's a little spendy given the amenities (e.g. it's very nice that they provide robes but they're very pilled and not very comfortable, and the pillows are pretty lumpy). The main thing though was there is a bit of street noise that made sleeping (for me anyway) a little challenging. (But that's also Mexico and being in a central neighbourhood.) Though someone had either brought a dog or a neighbour had a dog who was extremely yappy and barked a lot the first night I was there. Luckily the dog seemed to have moved on for nights 2 and 3. The place does provide ear plugs, but those don't keep everything out, and not being used to sleeping with ear plugs is also a sleep impediment haha. Overall though, I know these are things that are often totally out of the property's control, and that combined with the fact that I'm a terrible sleeper anyway, I think most people shouldn't have issues. But if there were plans to improve things, I would focus first on some of the room amenities (pillows, beds, bedding, towels etc.). I know soundproofing is probably a pipedream, but maybe eventually double-paned windows once there's budget.

I will never come bak! Positive: It was the worst experience in my life. I booked a double room, a bathroom attached to it. When I got the place, the recepcionist explained this room does not have a bathroom attached. It was a shared one or something similar. I was really exhausted because I came from Europe and I just wanted to rest but every time I needed the bathroom I have to go upstairs. It was horrible! Besides, gamma room has a noisy location in the entire building. I will definitely never come back. Negative: Location is great, but if you dont wanna rest and sleep this is your opportunity. If you wanna rest and sleep. Then, avoid it!

Positive: We only stayed one night, but from what I experienced, everything was nice and suitable.
